Needle Felting Landscapes in Petworth

Last week I taught a needle felting landscape workshop at The Cotton Wool Store in Petworth.
The day was a fun and inspiring day with students eagerly creating their own interpretations of a landscape.

With images, books and memories they had of landscapes the students went on to create some stunning images....

....all with just a felting needle and colourful wools!

Their styles varied too which as a tutor is a lovely sight to see and experience.

With the techniques I had shown them earlier on in the day they could go on and be as free as they wanted, pushing the boundaries in a medium with many possibilities!

Lovely rich colours and tones.....

You could see each students influences with in their work, possibly artists that they might admire....

I know that we will be holding the landscape workshops again as the day proved to be very popular and therapeutic for all the students.

You don't have to have any experience just a longing to learn and have fun. So if you are interested either contact myself or Charlotte and we can add you to the growing list of eager students

Who wouldn't want to make their own 'Bluebell Wood'?!
